Lagos Airport System

This information is only useful for participants whose entry port is Lagos. (For participants who are flying directly into Abuja, there are taxi cabs that can take you to Chida Hotel for a fee of two - three thousand Naira (local currency). Currency converter (Approximately $20)

Although the Lagos airport system goes under the collective name, Murtala Mohammed International Airport, there are in fact several terminal buildings at different locations. Depending on pre-chosen airline and schedule, some participants arriving from outside the country may be able to fly to Abuja from the same international terminal at which they arrive. A few airlines operate out of the international wing of the airport. For a list of airlines in Nigeria, please click here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airlines_of_Nigeria ).

Other participants, again depending on previous arrangements and schedule, may have to take a taxi cab (for about two thousand Naira) from the international wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport where they will be arriving to any of the two wings of the domestic airport  - MMA 2 ((http://www.mma2lagos.com/) and old domestic, where they can buy their tickets for the onward trip to Abuja.

IMPORTANT: Please note that, although, there are flights from either terminal to Abuja, only specific flight operators operate from a given terminal. To view flights originating from this terminal and schedule, please click here (http://www.mma2lagos.com/flightinformation.asp).
